Finance • Operations • Systems • Transformation

Your strategic compass for business growth.

Growing businesses rarely have one isolated problem.

  • Finance affects operations.
  • Operations affect people.
  • Systems affect reporting.
  • Reporting affects decisions.

Compass Management Enterprises helps leaders see the whole picture, identify what matters most, and turn complexity into practical action.

The terrain§ 01

Growth has a funny way of creating complexity.

  • What worked when the company was smaller starts breaking.
  • The numbers exist, but they don't tell you enough.
  • Processes live in people's heads.
  • Systems don't talk to each other.
  • Everyone is busy. Decisions take too long.
  • Leadership becomes the integration layer for the business.

Eventually you reach a point where you know something needs to change, but figuring out what to fix first becomes its own problem.

That is where Compass comes in.

Where we work§ 02

Where finance, operations and systems intersect

Finance tells part of the story. Operations tells another. Systems tell another. Compass works where they intersect.

What we do§ 03

Senior capability across the whole business.

Most engagements touch more than one of these. You bring the problem; we work out which mix of finance, operations and systems it actually needs.

Advisory sessions§ 04

Sometimes you don't need an engagement. You need an experienced brain in the room.

Bring the messy problem. Leave with direction.

Special projects§ 05

Have something weird? Good.

Some of the most useful work doesn't fit a category. If it crosses departments, has stalled before, or nobody internally owns it, it's probably a good fit.

  • Business integrations
  • ERP implementations
  • Financial systems redesign
  • Operational transformation
  • Strategic initiatives
  • Reporting architecture

The Business Friction Scorecard

What's making your business harder to run than it should be?

Most growing companies don't have one giant problem. They have friction.

A few sentences is enough. You don't need a diagnosis, a scope or a budget to reach out.

    2. Talk it through

    About§ 08

    Hi, I'm Cellie.

I'm a fractional CFO/COO, strategist and transformation advisor who has spent more than 15 years helping organizations make better decisions and build businesses that work better.

My background spans finance, operations, enterprise systems, analytics, technology, leadership and organizational transformation.

I've led finance and operations for a multi-entity $50M hospitality organization, supported enterprise program delivery, implemented and transformed financial and operational systems, and advised organizations across industries through Compass Management Enterprises.

What ties all of that together isn't a job title. It's the same question I've spent my career answering:

What's actually happening here, and what should we do next?

I believe good strategy should make a business clearer, not more complicated. And I have very little interest in creating bureaucracy for its own sake.
